Who we are
Run by a collector, not a warehouse
XL C.R. Comics & Toys is a small, independent operation built on one simple thing: Michael Willis genuinely loves this stuff.
What started as a personal collection that outgrew every shelf in the house turned into a traveling booth. Michael handles every book himself — sorting, grading, pricing, and packing the long boxes into the van before every show. If you ask him about a title, be ready for the story behind it.
There’s no storefront to visit, and that’s on purpose. Lower overhead means better prices on the table and better offers when you’re the one selling.

Cleaning out a closet, downsizing a collection, or settling an estate? Send a few photos and a rough list — Michael will tell you honestly what it’s worth and what he can pay.
How it works
Email a handful of photos, a rough count, and where you’re located. You’ll get a straight answer — a ballpark range, questions if we need them, or a friendly pass if it’s not a fit.
No lowball games
We’ll explain how we got to a number and what condition is doing to the price. If you’d do better selling a book yourself, we’ll say so. Bring a box to any show for an offer on the spot.
